Things to Keep in Mind for a Successful Notary Appointment
- The person(s) whose signature is being notarized must be physically present at the time of notarization .
- The person(s) whose signature is being notarized must have valid, current, picture identification:
- Drivers License,
- U.S. Passport,
- US Armed Forces ID,
- State issued ID Card,
- Green Card (I-551),
- Foreign Passport (Stamped by Immigration).
- When signing on behalf of a corporation, partnership, acting as a principal by an attorney-in-fact, public officer, trustee or personal representative, please be sure to bring the proper documentation granting you the authorization and signing rights for the document and purpose being notarized.
- To attest to photocopies, the notary must personally make, or supervise the making of the copies, such copies must be made from an original document.
- Documents photocopied cannot be a public record that certified copies of which are available from another source, such as death certificates.
- Photographs may not be "notarized" only a persons statement concerning the contents of the photograph may be acknowledged or sworn to.
- Many documents require two witnesses, who are not related to the signer(s) and do not have interest in the resulting documents. Check your documents and see if you need to arrange for said witnesses.

$10.00 first seal (notary stamp)
$5.00 for each additional seal required

- $50 per hour time fee prorated in 1/2 increments (minimum 1/2 hour = $25)
- $0.65 per mile to and from clients selected location from Tropicana & Chiquita in Cape Coral, FL
- $0.25 per photocopy page made by notary
Real Estate & Auto Loan Document Signings
- $95.00 - One (1) Loan Document Signing, within 20 miles round trip
- $15.00 - Two (2) Sets of Printed Copies from eMailed Documents
- $75.00 - Buyer No Show or Refusal to Sign
- $0.65 - Additional Mileage, beyond 20 miles round trip
- $40.00 - Additional Time, beyond 1 hour (prorated in 1/2 hour increments)
